System status 03/11

The G7IZU RRD system is now suffering badly due to a shortage of available transmitters to monitor.

On 31st October at 23h UT, the analogue TV transmitter in Prague on Ch R1 was switched off as part of digital switch-over. TVE-1 Navacerrada near Madrid in Spain on Ch E2 is drifting badly and has become unusable. It’s also overdue for close-down.

My last remaining useable channel is Ch E3 with RTP-1 Portugal from Lousa. The RRD site will continue for as long as possible, but I’m now counting the days until I have to find something else to do!
